Mother Agnes Mariam, a Catholic nun from the Diocese of Homs has placed her own life at risk by entering zones of conflict to personally verify events, collect evidence and provide protection to witnesses. She says there’s an “unidentified” third force at work in Syria, one that she says has links to Al-Qaeda.
