A Push for More Healthy Foods In Australian Supermarkets

Around two thirds of Australians are overweight, a 2018 report by the Australian Bureau of Statistics found. While efforts have been made to raise the nutritional value in packaged foods, a recent study undertaken by The George Institute discovered that half of the processed foods in Australian super markets are still pretty unhealthy.

The study examined different brands and products and calls for a push in the government to address nutritional standards applied to food manufacturers.
