In the early days of Covid panic,  homeless South Australian man Paul Langdon contacted the state Premier to ask how people without a roof over their heads were expected to self-isolate. He was surprised when the government responded quickly with a scheme to accommodate  rough sleepers in hotels. Now SA authorities are looking ahead to when the pandemic has passed but homelessness remains,  and are making moves to find and build social housing.
