A new voice for remote Indigenous media organisations

The Indigenous Remote Communications Association will take on a new role as a national peak body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander media and communications organisations in remote Australia. IRCA will expand its operation in July next year, with the hope to empower local communications and media outlets in urban and regional areas. Next week, a national remote Indigenous media festival will be held in Lajamanu, the Northern Territory, where the organisation will release its new strategic plan.
