Renmark in South Australia hosted the latest round of Murray Darling Basin Authority community consultations last week. People from all walks of life, including local business owners, irrigators and environmentalists attended.

There was a sense of calm at this consultation, unlike the scenes of anger witnessed at other such community consultations.Tim Whetstone, local member for the produce growing region around the town of Renmark, called for unity across state boarders, in achieving a mutually beneficial outcome for the Murray Darling Basin.
