The 48th Koori Knockout was held over the weekend in Dubbo. The yearly event showcases the best Indigenous rugby league talent from around New South Wales. The event is described as one of the largest gathering of Indigenous people throughout the world.

The Newcastle Allblacks were crowned champions in a nail biting men’s final and the Newcastle Yowies took out the women’s competition. Adding to the spectacle was the inclusion of NRL star’s Greg Inglis, Andrew Fifita and James Roberts among others.
