In a new reprot from The Australian Bureau of Statistics, data shows that men aged 85 years and over are the most likely demographic to commit suicide.

Almost 40 people per 100,000 in this group take their own lives, doubling the rate experienced by young men.

The stigma around mental health issues as well as the stigma around aging might be preventing the Australian elderly from getting the treatment they need.
