70 years on from Hiroshima, nuclear weapons still pose a threat

Seventy years after the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, survivors are still suffering, a Red Cross study shows. The findings show cancer was the cause of death of almost two-thirds of survivors who died at two Red Cross hospitals in Japan. Australian Red Cross CEO, Robert Tickner, told The Wire why this is concerning, and why Red Cross is calling for the elimination of nuclear weapons.
