It was a display of tough language and even tougher policy from the Liberal National Party as Tony Abbott and Immigration Spokesman Scott Morrison announced the coalition would cut 6000 places from Australia’s humanitarian refugee intake if elected to government. Activists and the greens say the policy is inhumane and the Government thinks it just won’t work.
