The Federal Government are handing out a grant of $6 Million Dollars to the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute as the risks of type 2 Diabetes and foot-related problems in indigenous Australians are rather high in figures

The rates of diabetes in indigenous people are estimated to be three to four times higher than that of non-indigenous people, with cases even resulting in the amputation of gangrenous limbs
