Five Australians receive Florence Nightingale Medal

This year a record five Australian aid workers have been commended for their work in foreign aid and disaster relief, and have been awarded the Florence Nightingale Medal, the highest accolade available to those in nursing and health work.
The Wire’s Lauren Connelly spoke to two of those recipients, Anne Carey and Ruth Jebb from the Australian Red Cross, about their experiences overseas and what the recognition means to them.
