Its National Diabetes week and a survey shows that three out of every four people in Australia are not aware of the complications that result from Diabetes. Blindness, amputations, strokes are just some of the illnesses that can afflict victims that often people do not associate with diabetes. Hypoglycemia is one of the most immediate dangers for diabetics where they can quickly lose consciousness and others may not realise how serious this is. But early intervention can save lives.
