A webcast being beamed to over 20 million people worldwide is being held this week. 24 hours of reality showcases experts from around the world on the impact of carbon pollution and the cost of not reducing emissions. Australia is being represented by the Climate Reality Project, a branch of Al Gore’s climate change leadership program.
The organisers hope that the event will create new momentum in the climate change debate in Australia and ensure experts on very sensitive and complex climate issues are heard in the current political debate.
