Marilyn fell in love with radio while studying a Masters degree in Journalism at the University of Technology, Sydney.
After spending some time writing about and reviewing her first loves – books and theatre – for local Sydney papers, she caught the current affairs bug and started reporting for The Wire in 2015.
The intimate nature of radio and the ability to produce stories about what people are passionate about in the local community are what Marilyn loves most about The Wire.
