Zimbabwe is one step closer to new political leadership after officials this morning announced the Movement for Democratic Change has won the parliamentary election held last week. African Studies expert Dr Tanya Lyons says this may mean the end of Robert Mugabe’s presidency, and if so will definitely spark more violence in the already troubled nation.
