A trend has emerged within Australian society, which has found its youth listening to speakers such as Jordan Peterson and attending the annual Festival of Dangerous Ideas, rather than the typical pass time of drinking and partying.

We asked the director of UNSW Centre for Ideas and Co-Curator for the Festival of Dangerous Ideas, Ann Mossop about why this tendency has recently occurred.
