This week’s royal commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety revealed the circumstances that are forcing young people into aged care facilities.

Over 6,000 Australians under the age of 65 have a disability and lack other affordable housings options.

The commission heard the voices of young people with a disability living comparing aged care homes to prison cells.
