Next Monday will mark the day the world’s population will reach seven billion. United Nations Population Fund released a study of global population which shows the world will likely reach eight billion people by 2025.

Professor of Geography at the University of Adelaide Dr Graeme Hugo, explained just how the United Nations is able to count the world’s population.He also added that while growth has slowed down since the 60s we still need to prepare the world for a large population.
