World military drone racing comes to Sydney

The world’s first drone racing tournament held by the defence force is coming up this week.
From the 18th to the 21st of October, teams from Australia, the UK, New Zealand, and Thailand will be competing for the championship, and in a spectacular piece of publicity, the Australian team flew a full loop around Australia’s helicopter carrier HMAS Canberra.
