Could it be possible to maintain agricultural production, preservation of Aboriginal Nari-Nari cultural sites and conservation of precious wetlands?  And there is also a promise of new businesses and eco-tourism.

The Nimmie-Caira project on the Lower Murrumbidgee River has backing by the Federal and NSW Governments and all stakeholders.  Management of the project has been given to the Nature Conservancy Australia, a not for profit organisation.
