The World Cup is starting on the 14th and it’s a great opportunity for world leaders to mingle with players.

However, this means players are stuck in photo ops with leaders that represent values (or a lack thereof) they don’t agree with, but with no real recourse to disassociate.

This leaves a vulnerability for their image to be weaponized by dictators or other leaders with questionable human rights records.
