Today is Equal Pay Day. It marks the extra days since the end of the financial year that women would have to work to equal their male counterparts.
That means it took women an extra 69 days to catch up.
Each year, Equal Pay Day shines a light on workplace inequalities. Currently at 16.2%, the gap hasn’t seen any major improvements in decades.
