Advocates for the Gonski school reforms say they could have the opposite of their intended effect if the remaining states don’t sign up. Catholic schools around the country have now joined the scheme, potentially leaving public schools even further behind in those states that have spurned Gonski. Advocate for the Gonski reforms, Jane Caro, says that the pressure is now on for the remaining states to sign up.
