A new survey released by the federal government will attempt to respond to Australians urging for revision of country of origin labeling on food products. Following the Nanna Berry scare earlier this year, country of origin labeling has become one of the top issues for Australian consumers. The survey allows the Australian public to pick their preference from six options of label design. For rural producers however, new labeling rules could mean increased costs on top of marketing and distribution.
