In Tasmania recently a 10 year old boy was grabbed from a boat by a shark and then his father heart-stoppingly just managed to haul him back.

Analysis now reveals it was a Great White – one of the largest and most efficient killing machines on the planet.  It strikes fear into our hearts when we think of it, but why are we so scared of sharks?  The incidence of attacks is arguably quite low in contrast to our perception.
