Three-quarters of people from non-English speaking countries have low health literacy levels.
Multicultural Health Week which runs from the 2nd to the 8th of September is addressing this issue by providing a new health video and health fact sheets in 20 different languages including Arabic and Swahili, reflecting the fast-growing languages in each of the local health districts in NSW.
