Seven parliamentarians from Afghanistan are visiting Australian parliament this week. They are the first representatives of the National Assembley of Afghanistan to officially visit Australia since the end of the Taliban regime and the establishment of the new democratically elected president. They will attend Question Time in the House of Representatives and the Senate to help them in thier efforts to further develop their fledgling democracy.
