Today Prime Minister Julia Gillard promised 300 million dollars to Afghan forces as a part of Australia’s exit strategy. However, whilst being caught up in the politics of the war, it is easy to forget about the women that still live there.
Although human rights abuses against women were one of the reasons for going to war, it seems today that their plight is but a distant memory.
