Today Australian’s are being encouraged to unite in wearing orange and show support as well as gratitude for the sacrifices made by SES volunteers to keep us safe. There are more than 40,000 State Emergency Services volunteers located all around Australia who put on orange overalls at all hours to serve members of their community when most in need.

With thoughts of the NSW bushfires still fresh in the minds of many, Wear Orange Wednesday has been successful in reminding the public about the importance of volunteers work as well as giving a message of thanks.
