The COVID-19 pandemic is hitting the creative industries hard. As venues across the country are forced to shut down, many artists struggle to keep themselves afloat.

In the midst of this crisis, the Western Australian arts sector is dealt another blow as the state’s main arts funding body suspended all major project funding. Being stripped of one of the principal resources to support their artistic practice, the sector is left wondering how to go from here.
