US results point to radical shift in voter habits

With counting in the US elections pointing to a likely Trump victory, the experts who confidently backed a Clinton win are gobsmacked. It all got down to who voted, and post-Brexit the US is more evidence that pre-polls are no longer able to predict who exactly will vote, and that many young people and liberals were complacent enough not to cast a vote at all, while those passionate for conservative change  led the charge to the ballot box.
