Recent US operations against suspected militants in Pakistani tribal areas left 20 dead which included women and children. Pakistani top brass has taken serious offence to this incident and termed it as an incursion and unlicensed operation by the US forces. Pakistani Defence has apparently issued permission to its forces to retaliate any future incursions on their territory… including the US. Top US officials have been making frequent diplomatic visits to Pakistan to diffuse the tension. Retaliation is on the cards and peace a distant possibility
