Today, former Labor party member, Craig Thomson was found guilty of fraud and appealed after he was sentenced to 3 months in prison. While Unions are responsible for encouraging good governance it appears the actions of individuals are damaging the political honesty of union movements. Cases such as Thomson’s and Williamson’s are putting a question mark over the governance of unions.
