The UN Special Rapporteur for the rights of Migrants ended his official tour of Australia today, releasing a highly critical statement about our Immigration Detention network.
Francois Crepeau said the difference in treatment between unauthorised plane arrivals and boats unfair and labelled the indefinite detention faced by some as cruel and inhuman.
