The election results in the UK have dashed the hopes of Prime Minister Theresa May, with her governing Conservative Party falling short of a majority in the House of Commons.

With an increased voter turnout and a decline in minor party support, Opposition Leader Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party have defied the odds and strengthened their position in parliament.
