The bodies of two Salvadorian migrants – father and daughter – were found drowned in the Rio Grande river near the USA-Mexico border while attempting to enter USA through illegal and dangerous means.

Donald Trump’s rampant hostility towards migrants and a highly controlled immigration regime has led to banning, deporting and refusing entry to asylum seekers. The situation is worsening with an increase in death rates when people try to get across the border riskily. Especially common for Latin American migrants that are trying to escape a murderous society, the USA is putting several lives in risk by demonising migrants.
