A group of prominent Australians has expressed views that the war on drugs has failed and there is a need for a new approach. Australia21, a non-profit research organization, released a report today calling for the debate on prohibition on drugs to be reopened in Australia. But how likely are we to see substantial debate on drug reform at a political level and to eventually see policy changes?
