If you are in Melbourne this Saturday you could be in for quite a sight. Provocatively dressed protestors will be gethering for a Slut Walk to make the point that rape is NEVER the victim’s fault, regardless of what a person might choose to wear. Controversial comedian and writer Catherine Deveny will be attending with her three sons, and Carly Nason caught up with her to find out why she thinks the walk is important. Slut Walks will also be happening in Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney in the coming weeks.
