In 2014 a young woman sniper allegedly killed more than 100 ISIS fighters while helping defend the town of Kobane in Syria. She became an internet sensation dubbed the ‘Angel of Kobane’ and now the almost legendary story now comes to the stage in the play Angel. The young woman Rehana tells her story of wanting to be a lawyer and ending up having to fight and kill to defend her homeland.
