It’s ten years ago since the Federal government took control of many aspects of life in remote NT communities.
The impetus was a report into child abuse but the actual intervention targeted many other aspects of indigenous lives.
Ten years on the rage against the intervention is still maintained. An event tonight in Redfern will protest the intervention and discuss the effects it has had on indigenous lives.
