The first solar battery was released this week in California, enabling the storage of solar powered energy. Tesla, the creators and designers of the solar batteries, will be selling versions of their products directly to consumers to help to power their homes, as well as to businesses that run larger facilities, and utility companies. The launch of their batteries has sparked excitement and curiosity for the future, which both Lawrence McIntosh and John O’Brien discuss.
