Australian Tamils and non Tamils will gather outside the Town Hall Square in Sydney this afternoon from 4pm to raise awareness of the plight all Tamils living in Sri Lanka face. The demonstration follows on from Tuesday’s Wire report on the Tamil journalist jailed for 20 years under anti-terrorism laws and the ongoing outcry over the jailing of over 300, 000 Tamils in internment camps.
