Leaders of aboriginal organisations facing funding cuts had an angry confrontation with Aboriginal Affairs Minister Nigel Scullion in Alice Springs this week. The Senator claims the same services will continue to be delivered but those running programs which will be forced to close say its a return to a 1950s assimilation style of dealing with indigenous Australians.
