Scientists warn against current land clearing in east Australia

Hundreds of scientists gathered in Brisbane this week to vote on a declaration to tighten land-clearing laws.
According to the declaration, of the 11 regions with the greatest deforestation globally, Eastern Australia is the only one in a developed country.
