Children with disabilities across the nation are missing out on funding after the Abbott Government broke its election promise to introduce full needs-based funding for students in 2015. The reforms recommended in the Gonski review would have seen a disability loading rolled out this year to support teachers who are fronting chaotic classrooms where they say the lack of support for kids with disabilities is leaving them without the attention they need.
