Negative cultural attitudes toward widows and women-headed households have been well-documented in Nepal, but a new report by Oxfam shows that these issues have been exacerbated by the recent earthquakes. As well as dealing with the monsoons, aid agencies are looking for ways to ensure the safety and needs of widows and single women.
