24 hours on from the blackout that left South Australia in darkness, some homes remain without power.

Some politicians were quick to blame the states reliance on wind power for the outage, with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull saying renewable energy targets set by some states are ‘extremely aggressive, unrealistic and ideological.

Opposed to this, South Australian Premier Jay Weatherill says it was a “weather event, not a renewables event”.
