Abortion laws in Australia vary wildly form state to state- it is still in the criminal code in New South Wales and Queensland, but legal to varying degrees in other states and territories. Victoria has made it illegal to protest near abortion clinics, and New South Wales recently followed suit. Many advocates are calling for more consistent laws across the country.
