The annual Lowitja O’Donohue oration was delivered in Adelaide by Ray Martin last night as part of Reconciliation Week The well known journalist and media personality has had a long involvement with Indigenous issues, having spent three terms as a Community Member on the Council for Aboriginal Reconciliation. He’s now involved in raising funds to improve Indigenous education. He discusses how people can deal with the uncomfortable feelings that come up when they think about white settlement and the impact that has had on Aboriginal people, and what he thinks is needed to aid Reconciliation.
