The French Parliament’s passed an immigration bill that’s been labelled racist and has been compared to anti-Jewish discrimination during Nazi-ruled Germany. The law’s been drastically amended since the first proposals included compulsory DNA testing of immigrants – and now the tests will only be voluntary. John Mac Coll, a delegate of the Assembly for French Overseas Nationals speaks about the controversial bill’s background.
